Ok, I'm back....finally! Have had a severe case of project jitters, bad internet connection, messy desk, and a bunch of other bad excuses for not not keeping my blog up to date... Thanks for all your mails and support...I will get back to you all as soon as I can... Lots of things to tell: ---- Nick Yee have sent out a new questionnaire as part of his Online MMORPG Study. ---- Tori Amos launched a COOL new video, where she's nothing but a head and a leg - check it out on a music TV channel near you! ---- The Netherlands have had IKEA bomb threats (what goes on in the world today?!) ---- Sinterklaas finally arrived from Spain last week (It's Sinterklaas dec. 5th). And yes, the dutch people DO have two Xmas'es - even though they strongly deny it, that's at least how I see it as a foreigner living here... I spent that whole morning in front of the TV, watching Sinterklaas being greated in Zaltbommel (small town in the southern Netherlands)...very interesting...kinda...seen from a cultural perspective... Richard gave me among other things some Sinterklaasje chocolate (which he ate most of, sinde they contained milk), a portable radio for my long trainrides btw. NL and DK, and a kitty CD-ROM holder for all our downloaded stuff. If you wanna make a Sinterklaas poem, this guy has a dowvloadable Sinterklaas poem generator! (Beware: It's in dutch) ---- My good friend Lisbeth closed her site for some time...she needs to work on her project. I SO understand you, sweetie. I'll be home next week, so we can have Glögg in Copenhagen. (By the way - thanks for listing my blog *hug*) ---- I got my first link at unfiction.com (Thanks guys) because of the study I did in the spring on Alternate Reality Gaming (I wish I had an english version of the paper for you already) ---- Happy birthday to my sister, Lene....love you, BIG sis! Looking forward to spend Xmas at your place... *** - | posted by Tommy on 11:38 AM ---ooo--- |
