After a very delicious brunch (and some games of "Monkey Ball") at Lisbeth's place, we went to see a movie. I wanted SO BAD to see the dutch comedy "Ja, Zuster! Nee, Zuster!"m but nobody wanted to join me...*sniff*
Fortunately I can rely on Lisbeth when it comes to last-minute events like that!
Well, the movie was GREAT!!! It was Mary Poppins/Pee Wee Herman in Pierre & Gilles settings combined with sarcastic humour. It apparently is a remake of a dutch childrens TV-show from the 60'ies that got quite popular among the adults - maybe because of the irony. F.eks. one of the lyrics goes something like this: "Here we'are sitting in the carriage - looking at the horse's ass...".
It should be said that this is NOT a gay movie, but with certain "gay notes" in the score it's not surprising it won the prize as the public's favorite at the San Francisco International Lesbian & Gay Film Festival. If you get the chance, you should definately see this funny eye-sparkling cemedy masterpiece.
Here is a picture from the movie next to a photo by Pierre & Gilles:
